Italian Music

The Afterglow are an Italian rock band with clear English influences. Founder members the half English frontman Dave Timson and guitarist Mik Lennard, who started the band in 1998. After a few line up changes they found the right drummer in Alex Cherry, who joined the pair in 2002. The band decided to base themselves partially in Italy and partially in the UK on account of their sound which it was felt far more akin to an English 4-piece than to a typical Italian band.

883 was an Italian pop rock band active from 1991 to 2003. The band was formed by singers Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto. In case you’re wondering, the group was named after a type of Harley Davidson.

Bluvertigo is an Italian band formed in 1992. Their first name was “Golden Age” and former members are Morgan (Marco Castoldi), Andy (Andrea Fumagalli) and Marco Pancaldi. In 1994 Sergio Carnevale joined the band while in 1996 Pancaldi left the band and Livio Magnini entering in his role.

Rhapsody of Fire (formerly known as ThunderCross and more recently – Rhapsody) is an ItalianSymphonic Power metal band led by Luca Turilli and Alex Staropoli. Formed in 1993 the band has since released seven studio albums, one live album, one EP, and a live DVD.
